I liked that there was enough floss to finish the project, and it looked just exactly like it was pictured. Easy to follow the stamped on design. Very cute to add to my many ornaments for my wrought iron tree.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who loves penguins.It took me about a month to make it, with about 10-12 hours of work over the course of the month. It was my first needlepoint project, so it took some learning on how to change colors etc. I also choose to glue to the backing rather than sew it, and it worked well.I wasn't always sure which color to use in some spots, but I did my best guess, and it worked out well.The picture on the mesh is otherwise clear and printed straight and even.Overall I'm pleased with the results.One note: I did run out of light blue thread, and ended up not being able to finish it by Christmas. I contacted the Alice Peterson company about it, and they sent the thread right away, free of charge. It was enough to finish the project, and I gave it to my husband a couple days after Christmas.This kit comes with everything you need to do the project, and the instructions are clear.It comes with one needle, so keep good tabs of it. I lost my needle somewhere, and ended up having to get another one.
