I am skeptical of buying RC parts from Amazon, particularly from unknown brands, because they don’t usually work or fit as advertised. I bash my WideMaxx like there is no tomorrow, and the battery did not fly off; it remained seated in the battery tray. I highly recommend this holder to anyone looking to use bigger batteries for their Maxx. Please note that you have to apply threadlock on the screws when installing the holder.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the battery strap is too short. The battery strap will still work, but not as it is intended. It's a pain in the A to install a battery with the short battery strap because there's a good chance it'll separate from the aluminum strap mount. And because the aluminum mount is positioned low in the chassis, it'll be really hard to run the strap thru the loop once the battery is in place

I use it for my traxxas max v2 really great thing easy to install the only thing is get longer and bro stronger straps, the straps won’t fit 4s battery’s or for me 4s zeee battery’s to tall well I got 600 straps as a replacement but before I used them I try it on a 3s battery and it snap but u get a vary strong metal holders so it’s worth spending 8$ for strong longer ones

Built well, with a great fit ... I would suggest some UmaGrip if your going to use this system. The strap is garbage, so I would also suggest a kevlar battery strap, as they are unbreakable.

MUST HAVE FOR THE WIDEMAXX IN ORDER TO USE BIGGER BATTERIES ! !This here is the ticket. These have worked so well for me and will work for Widemaxx users who demand to use a bigger 4s battery. Install is easy. Just remove the current battery hold-downs and replace with these and you're golden - pretty self explanatory. You can even use the old screws if you to keep everything black scheme. I've bashed the heck out of the widemaxx and these hold-downs are still 100%. Don't buy the -other garbage which makes you stick/glue the plate to the chassis; those are no good-trust me I have tried them and they fall apart. You need a more permanent set-up like these here.

For this much $ they could have made a better velcro and the aluminum anchor could have been a tiny bit more beefy to compensate for the amount of weight now being removed from that side of the rc vehicle. But—the velcro is really the most important part of this exchange and it cheap and that’s why they send you an extra one.Updated review and rating 5/2/2021Just like I suspected, the flimsy straps broke and my brand new $100 traxxas maxx 4s battery was smashed and destroyed on the first use. Very upsetting. Raidenracing products are a joke—they are cheap and can cost you more money in damages to your rc than they are worth.
