The Aluminum Flagpole Bracket by Valley Forge Flag is the perfect way to display your American flag with ease. This 13-position flagpole mounting bracket provides one of the easiest ways to mount your flagpole to a wall or strong post. The kit includes all the hardware you need for installation, making it easy to set up. Made from durable cast aluminum, this bracket is built to withstand outdoor weather conditions and comes with the necessary hardware for securing it to a vertical wooden surface. The bracket is finished with a white powder coat that is extremely durable and won’t easily scratch like traditional paint finishes. The white color complements the colors of the American flag as well as the trim on many houses. Once secured, it allows your flagpole to be mounted at 13 appropriate angles. You can fly your flag horizontally at a 90-degree angle to your house, allowing the flag to hang downward or support the flagpole at any traditional upward angle. The bracket securely holds your flagpole with a thumb screw that tightens the bracket’s hold on the pole. Designed to hold a standard one-inch diameter flagpole, this bracket is small enough to not distract from the beauty of your flag but large enough to securely hold it. The base of the bracket that connects to the wall is two inches wide and just over four inches high.

Package clearly states Made in China. Not in USA as advertised. I have purchased this bracket 3 times to avoid drilling different holes in my wood. First two brackets snapped in the wind. Second bracket purchased came with smaller screws and the third bracket was packaged without any screws.. Will choose a different brand once this one snaps. The positive about this bracket is it has adjustable positions.

All they had to add was a washer for the bracket angle adjustment wingnut and 4 larger screws with washers as well, to make this review 5 stars. The mounting hardware is so flimsy it just doesn't make sense that you would mount this bracket with little screws that are going to pull out of the wood.

This is my third replacement in four years, so I should be concerned about durability. Well, I am not! In every instance where the bracket failed including this last one, it was subjected to wind gusts well in excess of 80 mph, over 90 mph in some area reports. Instead of pulling out the mounting screws, and potentially damaging the structure, the bracket sheared. Frankly, I consider that an advantage, sort of like an electrical fuse protects the wiring, the broken bracket protects the structure. This does not happen in light winds! When I anticipate strong gusts, I bring in the flag! It is the fairly rare instance where an unexpected substantial gust snaps the bracket. Yep, I recommend it and will likely buy it again! Just don't leave your flag up in a tornado or hurricane.

Had to replace our flagpole mount after a hurricane finally took it out after many years of life (was here when we bought the house 4 years ago). I bought this product because it was American made, so I had faith that the aluminum would be quality and not cheap as overseas products often are. Happy to spend more to support American companies. Well, after our first major wind (20-30 mph gusts?) in the two months since install, the mount broke, revealing a fairly porous casting. Looks like that porous casting was flawed and allowed for the mount to bend and snap. Not impressed with this product and I guess will now have to try competitors’ products.

Easy to install, easy to adjust angle in which you want flag pole to sit and very sturdy product in high winds to support flag and flag pole. I highly recommend this product.

As advertised. Strong but not pretty. Spray painted cast metal with rough spots, but nobody sees it up high with the flag. Worth the price. Valley Forge? It's from China.
