I knew they were plastic before ordering. Just disappointing I'm not able to get metal versions of these. Hopefully these last longer than the original handles. They fit, function and look ok.

Description is a joke!!! "Polished Chrome" it's plastic and they don't come with the set screw to connect them? WTH? what good is a handle you can't put on. It's like buying a car with no wheels.

American standard 3275 cadet shower handle replacement. Exactly same handle and good quality. You do need to buy small hex screw to hold handle on if you don't have old one. The inside assembly is made of plastic but seems to be good quality. Chrome color and handle is made of thick plastic.

The description is incorrect, i talked to America Standard and they do not include the handel set screw, it is a separate part.
