  • AMERICAN VINTAGE II 1961 STRATOCASTER NECK: The American Vintage II Series features authentic neck profiles from Fender’s past.
  • MEDIUM “C” NECK PROFILE: C-shaped necks have a comfortable profile that works well for most playing styles. They are usually not as deep as most U- and V-shaped neck profiles.
  • RADIUS AND FRETS: The 7.25”-radius slab rosewood fingerboard provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument, while 21vintage-tall frets make it easier to bend notes without fretting out.
  • GLOSS LACQUER FINISH: Nitrocellulose lacquer, as used on ‘50s and ‘60’s Fender instruments, is a premium finish that reveals the instrument’s true tonal character.
  • REAL BONE NUT: A bone nut improves a guitar's tone, tuning stability, and playability.

In vintage years, the shape and thickness of Fender guitar necks varied tremendously. The American Vintage II Series features authentic neck profiles from Fender’s past. Crafted at our Corona, Calif. manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster guitar neck features a medium "C"-shaped profile and 7.25"-radius slab rosewood fingerboard with clay dots and 21 vintage-tall frets. The bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing and a lacquer finish offers a vintage feel. This replacement neck is the perfect way to give your Strat® an authentically '60s feel. This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar.
