Just about everything is off with this model. The molds were warped, a whole lot of sanding, some puddy required, parts didn’t align well, I’ve built about ten planes this winter , enjoyed each build. This rascal doesn’t measure up , says its1/48 scale, even the scale is off as this model is bigger than all the other as I’ve kept all my builds at 1/48 scale.Still need to sand the area I had to puddy, and paint, I’ll send down a pic when finished.I wanted an Avenger for my collection, so I purchased this rascal. Never will buy this brand again

AMT for some reason molded this in white which means fou have to paint the entire airplane.

This is the plane I like the most, so when this kit came out I really wanted to build it. I am fairly new to recent building, and I found this fun, not too difficult to put together. It has enough parts and detail to keep you interested. All parts fit well, and I liked the design of the wing that is one piece which is more stable. Lots of moving parts, even the control stick and foot pedals work! The only part I had problems with was where the fuselage meets over the cockpit, the parts are not supposed to connect and were a little warped, however it is under the canopy when installed. The decals were different because they are just numbers, letters, and symbols all separated. You have to be good at lining them up! No painting or decal placement instructions, I used a book and the sheet had the ones I needed to make it look authentic. Not too expensive either.
