I caught a couple bass, and the rod is still kicking, and they are very durable if you treat the folding phase with care. I like the kits, so make beginners have something to start off with.

I purchased this combo set for my grandson. I also purchased a two-year protection plan. In the description of the product it came with a one year unconditional replacement guarantee it says, “you break it we replace it”. The tip of the pole broke, and the real keeps binding. The two-year extended coverage doesn’t wanna cover it because it still has a one year manufacturers warranty. The seller will not contact me back, I have sent two messages. Amazon only wants to issue a refund. I don’t want a refund I want it replaced.Update ***I was able to get in touch with the manufacturer. They were very apologetic and issued a replacement right away.

My grandson is over the moon and the fact you get a card that says you break it we fix it in first year gives peace of mind .lovely bag and all tucks away nicely. You get what you pay for

I Tested it to see it's capabilities and it surprised me, it was a little thiner then in the photos and videos but nonetheless I'm quite satisfied with this product so far and I will keep using it to see what happens. Probably going to buy the other one they offer the green savvy

I bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loves it! When packing it away for the winter the rod broke. I contacted the company and they responded the NEXT day. Issue was solved and they replaced the broken rod in 1 week. I can't speak highly enough of this company. They stand up to their garentee with no questions asked. Great product and even better service.
