I used this tape in the shower floor to provide grip for my elderly mother. I first used it some years ago and decided to refresh it. The tape adheres perfectly to the tile and provides the necessary grip to prevent slipping. The shower floor is smooth matte large format porcelain tile. When applying I avoided grout lines. The adhesion and appearance lasts years in perfect condition. Tile must be smooth for it to work. I did not have success in my shower because the tile is not smooth and water seeped under the tape.

Bought these to put on the pool steps. So far so good. Grip is perfect. Really easy to use. So far has not come off so the durability is great.

I had prepped and installed a new handrail for my parent's house. The three coats of polyurethane I applied was a bit slippery for my father to safely get a good grip. When sanding and scuffing didn't help, I searched and found this grip tape. Tape stuck very well to rail and is plenty rough to securely guide my dad down the stairs, but not too rough to be irritating. Good purchase

I put some strips of this down in our kitchen so the dogs can run around without slipping or getting hurt. It's perfect!!! It's not messy and it's been stuck to a high traffic area for a couple of weeks now with no sign or wear. Now I can sweep without having to pick up a bunch of rugs to shake out! Ugly rugs are gone, tape is barely even noticeable. Now I'll be doing the rest of the kitchen with it. Happy customer!Installing tips -- soap and water and scrub the surface, then use rubbing alcohol on a rag. Make sure its totally DRY and CLEAN.Use a heat gun or hair dryer to get the piece warm before pressing it down, it makes it kinda melty so it sticks like glue.

This product is not clear it’s a frosted clear. I did not buy it with the intention of using it on the stairs but with my crafting rollers however I like how it sticks and grips but you cannot see the fabric through the tape which I would not deem as clear.
