My old battery was at the end of its life. Following the simple instructions, I connected this replacement to my APC unit. Moments later, the unit worked like new and has been functioning great ever since. Highly recommended.

This is the battery that came with my UPS unit when it was brand new. The price was reasonable and because it is an APC unit, it will last a very long time the way the original cartridge did. There no reason to get aftermarket or off brand parts when the original is available and the price is competitive.

I received this battery today for my old bx1500 apc ups with the red lcd screen. I unboxed it and installed into the housing closed it up and didn't even think twice about it. Went down the hallway to where it goes, set it down and plugged it in, plugged a single device into it then turned the power on and walked away.It cycled itself on and a couple of seconds later it started beeping but I was at the other end of the house and couldn't hear it. I went back down there a few minutes later and started hearing the beeping then as I got closer I realized that it was the APC so I looked at the screen and saw that the battery symbol was completely empty. I turned the power off and double checked the connectors on the battery which were fully plugged on.It was then that I realized that I'd received a defective battery so I unplugged the unit and removed the battery. Logged into Amazon and clicked on return item and was greeted by a get help screen that I could not get past to finish the return. Had to select something so I chose chat only to end up with an AI driven assistant. I had to go back and forth with it quite a bit before it realized that I was trying to return a defective item and offered a returnless refund which I accepted.I will not buy APC products again and am going to throw this unit away because its practically impossible to get a replacement battery now. I'm going to stick with Cyberpower products.Do not buy these old batteries. Mine was covered in dust on all sides like it had been sitting in a warehouse for many years and the cardboard on the factory box was soft like old school chinese paper.

I guess a true assessment of this battery can't be made until two or three years have elapsed, but my initial impression is very good. The battery brought my UPS back to its expected 45 minutes of backup time, and it hasn't dropped one minute over the first month of use. I'll continue to monitor.But the best thing is the ingenious tab they've attached to the battery to facilitate its removal when the need arises. Anyone who has struggled trying remove one of these 80 pound boat anchors from their UPS will know what I'm talking about. APC battery backups are the best, but whoever designed the battery compartment was a sadist . . . and an idiot. These guys have affixed a paper-thin plastic tab to the battery that you simply pull, and out it pops. A two-cent solution to a really annoying problem.I nearly tossed my UPS in the garbage and bought a new one, rather than face the nightmare of removing and replacing the battery. But, I'm glad I bought this. If it last for a couple of years I'll be a happy camper, and will buy another one, mostly because of the removal tab!And it was significantly cheaper than the OEM battery, with free PRIME next-day shipping.Only four stars because it's too early to judge the batteries longevity. I'll bump it to five stars if it lasts two years . . . assuming I last two years. (I'm an old dude).January 2025 . . . Well, I got a message on the APC software that the battery was failing, and should be replaced. So it didn't last 2 years, but 18 months is fine with me. The APC brand replacement costs more than twice the price of this battery, and they claim it's good for 2-3 years.I ordered a replacement this morning.

I have bought these before from APC when APC was APC these are same identical batteries that come with load printout and testing of it.Just as when I bought from them the batteries are a couple months old by the test date but still new and unused.Depending on your UPS installation can be a pain in just that getting the UPS possibly flipped over as it comes out the bottom, sliding door off and removing old one as there is almost zero extra space, that said it only took about 10 minutes or so and from past experience I normally get 5 years or more out of these which is cheaper then buying an entire new UPS.

This was the exact replacement item for my existing UPS. From the look of the old battery, which was starting to leak crystallized nastiness, this replacement was well timed.I successfully completed a hot swap of the battery (probably not advisable to do) only to accidentally hit the switch on one of the power strips that I had plugged into it. Perfect hot swap, then epic failure on the an unrelated item. It was ok really, since I had bought a new, second UPS to share the load with this existing unit, so I took advantage of my screw-up and moved that power strip to the new UPS.Anyway, back to the battery. It was easy to replace and fit perfectly.

Compradas a finales de marzo, principios de abril de 2017, muertas el 10 de septiembre de 2019.La duración ha sido mínima, menos de dos años y medio.Ningún apagón en este tiempo, el SAI no ha tirado de baterías en ningún momento.Las anteriores me duraron perfectas más de 10 años, las que llevaba el SAI cuando lo compré.Mala compra, en mi caso, no las aconsejo.

Works! Fits! Easy install. This replaced the 2009 original set (I write the date on batteries when they're installed) in my audio/visual equipment UPS. I usually get 3 or 4 years from the off brand imports, and while they're cheaper initially this (assuming it lasts as long) is cheaper in the long run. Plus you won't go through the declining run time "I can stretch it out a few more months" annoying period as often. Before we became cord cutters my BackUPS XS 1300 would run the DirecTivo overnight, now it'll run the wireless AP and network switch pretty much indefinitely - and lots longer than virtually all of our power outages, plus charge up the phone when it dies, so we won't need to suffer from Internet Deprivation Disorder or chew up the data plan. We're a long way out from the substation and get a tree or two on the distribution power lines every year that takes a few hours (depends on how many other trees fell) to fix, Set for another 7 or 8 years!

la mia avventura inizia a causa del malfunzionamento della batteria del mio APC BR1200LCD che dopo 5 anni di funzionamento eccellente non caricava più la batteria con conseguenti errori.Avendo il dubbio che fosse l'unità guasta ( causa precedente di mio padre per il quale ho dovuto sostituire l'UPS) ho contattato APC che dopo varie istruzioni e procedure reset da eseguire, mi ha comunicato che l'unità era guasta e proponevano un trade online con un costo che non mi sarebbe convenuto.Da qui ho deciso di rischiare ed acquistare questa batteria anche se un po' dubbioso al riguardo, non conoscendo la provenienza ma confidando della fantastica opportunità di Amazon di effettuare il reso in caso la batteria non avesse risolto il mio problema ( a differenza di APC che ti fa spendere i costi di spedizione fino in Olanda per il reso).Ricevuta la batteria con imballo Amazon perfetto , il mio UPS è rinato e tutto funziona egregiamente quindi la mia unità necessitava solo di una batteria nuova e spero che duri per altri 5 anni ed ho risolto il problema con una spesa congrua.Grazie Amazon!!

This battery pack fits correctly, was easy to install, and works even better than the original in my UPS. It did not include a return package for disposal of the old battery (this is included if you buy the part directly from APC), but the local recycling center accepts them free, so not a problem. I have been using the battery for a couple months now, and it held up for the predicted time through several outages.UPDATE, Three and a half years later, this battery has finally stopped working. I would have liked to get a little more life form it, but APC says 3-5 years is the expected life on these. Once complaint about the way the battery failed, it appears to have leaked. This is something that a sealed battery should not do. The leakage was contained in the UPS battery compartment, and does not appear to have otherwise damaged the UPS, but it still makes me nervous having this in the house. For that reason, I have downgraded this part from 5 to 4 stars.2nd Update Almost exactly 3.5 years after the first battery died, the second one has passed on. This one got a fair amount of usage, as we have experienced more frequent and prolonged power outages. Including one that completely drained the battery. So that says APC is being pretty accurate in their 3-5 year life span.
