I purchased an engine and decided to do the timing components. This one was cheap enough and had all the parts I needed. Everything seemed to fit fine. But after I installed the engine with the timing chain kit, it was making a clacking sound. I noticed there was slack in the chain. I figured maybe a bad tensioner out of the box, replaced it and still slack in the chain. I purchased another kit from Advance Auto. I found the problem, the bottom tensioner from this Amazon kit was narrower than the one from Advance. Because it was about 3/8 inch narrower, it caused the tensioner to max out and still could not tighten the chain. After installing the correct thicker/wider one. I cranked it up and there was no noise at all. If I would’ve taken these parts to a shop, I would’ve had to pay labor twice for this job! Luckily I work on my own vehicles but it’s still a big job! Don’t buy these cheap Chinese junk. But Better quality elsewhere!

Well the product was great far as the chain and the guides . But I was sent the wrong timing set far as the timing gears they were for a newer 4.7 ( need the jtec) just check the timing gears wen you get yours...could not give the full 5 stars

The right cam pulley was the same as the left but my sprocket were good so it didn't matter other than shipping weight.

Everything fit properly except for the passenger side cam gear with the sensor plate on it. It did not match up to the factory sensor plate. The product says its for a JTEC but it definitely for the newer model 4.7l.
