Been about 6 months or soo and about 2k hard miles holds up pretty good doesn't swell up from pressure like other ones i had. Over all good quality for the money.

2003 530i check coolant level message after installing. I thought it could be air entrapped so I rebled the system, same error, so I vacuum filled, still the error. I contacted the seller for suggestions or if they had a replacement sensor; no response. I removed the sensor and took off the black plastic pipe as other reviewers noted, same error. I purchased a Uro coolant sensor and replaced it; this fixed the problem. Beware the sensor does not work and others have had the same issue, and seller does not respond.

This solved my problem (a cracked coolant reservoir), but now I always have the message on my dash to check the coolant level. Luckily I kept the level sensor from my old (cracked) reservoir that should be in working order. If you have a working sensor, I'd replace it before installing and not take the chance.

After 23yrs my original expansion had the nibble break on it. This brand isn’t horrible when it comes to Chinese knock offs. So far it’s ok. Time will tell if it’s garbage or not.

Repalcement tank was installed without any problems. I've put 1,200 miles on the new expansion tank and no issues to report. The leaking tank I replaced had 62k miles over an 7year period. I hope this one will last for a while; time will tell. I will update if there is an early part failure. My BMW is a 2001 530i.
