The first overflow tank had a malformed retaining clip for the fluid level sensor float. The float, retainer cap, and metal clip were rattling in the tank when it arrived. The replacement looked OK so I swapped the sensor, moved the hoses, and as I was attempting to set the tank into place I noticed the seam was too large. This stresses the plastic mounting clip and prevents it from fully locking in place. (See picture). Decision time! I decided not to disassemble everything and remount the old tank but will watch it carefully. If the clip give out or the tank does not stay in place then I'll initiate yet another return and do it all again. The reset of the tank looks good but 2 quality control issue in a row does not foster much trust in the manufacturer.

Like other reviewers have stated, mounting tab snapped and the cap does not hold pressure. I used the old cap so it wasn't a big deal. I am a auto technician for 50+ years and was extra careful mounting the tank onto the bracket and it just snapped. I made a repair so it will work. I do not recommend this jar. "Chinese Junk"..

We used the cap that came with the new reservoir container and the coolent ended up spewing on the top of my hood, after driving my vehicle for about 15 to 20 minutes. Thankfully we still had the old cap and the old cap worked from my previous container. Now, everything is ok but not happy the new cap didn't work or fit right. We did try it a few times and went through a lot of coolent before trying the old cap. Sigh.

The item description is correct on the coolant overflow tank. However, Amazon was misleading showing that it was verified to fit my vehicle. The cap is the 75kPa, not the 150kPa, which my vehicle requires. This tank is also the non-pressurized tank, meaning it does not have the second hose connection on the top. This tank is not compatible with the Volvo 30760100 tank.
