I don't know how LARGE the food items are envisioned to be. Blood worms just slip out into the water immediately through the large slats in the bottom. The whole purpose of having a "feeder" is to have slow release of food... The mfctr can't figure this out? Or was it meant as a sort of practical joke?

Not for all aquariums. My glass is too thick for the magnet to stay fixed.

Product image misrepresents actual size, it’s to small for most aquariums, and the holes are too small for most frozen food to fall through one thawed.

This feeder works great for feeding frozen mysis shrimp to my saltwater fish. The food comes right out and not all at once. Update: my Copperband Butterfly fish loves eating from this feeder. Definitely recommend
