A sandpaper pointer allows you to refresh blending stumps and precisely charcoal pencils with out waste. A 3" x 4" chamois blends, smudges, and creates soft, gestural marks. An eraser shield allows you to erase specific areas without smudging. This kit includes both blending stumps for blending larger areas as well as tortillions for more focused, detailed areas.

Love the different sizes of the stump. Sand paper board is a nice size to hold in your hand. The eraser needs to be kneaded a lot to get it pliable but works great taking off small bits of color at a time. Worked as expected. Nice quality.

Fairly decent set of tools, arrived in timely fashion, package and contents seemed a little aged or exposed to high temperatures in long storage, but it's what I needed and will mostly work.

Here is a great combination of tools, some of which I didn't even know I needed yet when I ordered it. I ordered it for the blending stumps (which also have a fancy french name I can't remember.) Huge improvement over my fingers! Then I learned that the sandpaper can be used for sharpening charcoal. There is also a chamois and a kneaded eraser. Kneaded erasers are really cool, much better at picking up marks gently than a vinyl eraser. I didn't see the erasing shield in my package.

This is actually a repeat purchase but it's been years since I have used the items in this very well put together kit. Even if you, like me, are replacing your old drawing tools I highly recommend this set for anyone who's into drawing. It comes with everything you need to get started and will use the most, in my case that being the kneaded eraser (ha!). There's an assortment of tortillons, the chamois cloth, and the sand paper for cleaning the tortillons. I use the kit with colored pencils but most people buy it for use with graphite and/or charcoal. So IMO it's a very useful set that's been well put together enough that not only do I recommend it but when I use it up, I plan to buy this exact same one again. The seller is quick to send it out and it arrived to me earlier than I was expecting. Even though I didn't speak to them directly, that to me is great service. I'm more than satisfied with this purchase

I purchased this for part of a set of supplies for one of my art students. (I tutor in the summertime, though I'm a speech therapist and special education teacher during the school year.) I really enjoy my art students and this is one of the first products that I recommend for them if they're going to be learning to sketch and draw in either graphite or charcoal. It's got a bit of everything in it, and it's just enough to get the student through the summer program and still have some left over. I highly recommend this as a starter set for anyone of any age who is just getting into drawing. I love the kneaded eraser, the assortment of tortillons, the chamois cloth (a favorite of my students), and the sanding paper.

I got this to use on my coloring books with my fancy colored pencils. I have found all the the chamois and eraser shield to be useful. Those I am sure are helpful to others. I use the blending stumps and tortillians with baby oil to blend my work. It makes my work look more like a painting then just a colored picture. The sandpaper file is used to clean the stumps, Everything appears to be of great quality.

If you're just starting out working with blending art mediums - this is a nice little kit. Has all the tools needed to get started using paper stumps for blending - plus the sanding tool for cleaning the stumps and keeping them sharp. If you aren't sure these tools are for you, but would like to try them - this is a good inexpensive way to try them out.
