I have tested more glue gun models than I care to admit (including some regrettable cordless splurges). I had difficulty prying this one away from my daughter, who borrowed it and had no intentions of returning it. So finally, a good review, timely and worthy of mention. I needed more than one reliable glue gun so I bought thise ASA Full Size 100 Watt Low-Temp DIY Hot Glue Gun with caution. I have a Black and Decker glue gun, which is my favorite. I was skeptical that the low-temperature feature is good, and it is okay because it gets the job done. This gun heats up quickly, and once warmed up, it delivers a steady stream of glue. I like a full-sized gun and prefer to have one plugged in for consistency. I do not want to stock low-temperature and high-temperature glue, which is a drawback. I like the gun and will make it my travel companion because it is reliable, safe, and efficient. My Black and Decker gun is still my favorite, and this ASA glue gun has undoubtedly won a spot in my craft travel bag because it does not leave me compromised in performance. 4 stars

This ASA 200 Watt High-Temp, High Output Full Size DIY Hot Melt Glue Gun [for 7/16” Glue Sticks] seems well-made, sturdy, durable and works as intended right out of the packaging. Ideal for do-it-yourself type projects involving woodworking, home fix-ups, crafting and the like. I especially appreciate the fold-out stand near where the hot glue comes out of the glue gun: Makes it very easy to deal with "the hot end" of the glue gun so it does not come into contact with the "at rest area" surface. And the gun itself, stays in an upright position, immediately "ready" for when you next want to pick-up the glue gun. Unfortunate that within the packaging of this glue gun no glue stick(s) was/were included.

When they say full sized they truly mean it. This is a large sized glue gun with an equally nice sized trigger on it. It works nicely although it has the same issue as other glue guns -- mainly roping/leaking glue from the nozzle. If you have a lot of work to do though this will be a great glue gun to use. It does come with some glue sticks so you'll be able to get started with it as soon as you get it.

This is the absolute best glue gun I've ever had. I build a lot of foam board airplanes, which takes a lot of hot glue. This gun gets hot fast, stays hot, and can eat as many sticks as you can feed it without cooling down. Only problem is, my crafty daughter likes it more than I do, so it's part of her DIY table now... Highly recommended!

I used this for the first time yesterday on a Christmas craft project. It sets up quickly and heats up within 5 mins. I was concerned it would be awkward to hold because of its size but it wasn't. It is lighter weight than I thought it would be. I look forward to using it on more projects. The glue dries quickly. The functionality is diverse and the gun is durable. Just make sure you get some glue sticks before you start a project. It only comes with 2 and it takes one's that are larger than the others. I think this is a great value for the money for any crafter or d.i.y enthusiast.

This low temp professional hot glue gun is a keeper. It heats quickly thanks to the 100 watts of power. The low temp is lots safer and cooler to work with than my old glue gun. I like the trigger feed of this glue gun because it is easier to operate with my arthritic hands. It doesn’t take as much effort to press and is easy to grip. The narrower tip of the glue gun is much easier to use when trying to get into smaller places, and doesn’t waste glue by putting out big globs of glue. It dispenses small amounts right where you need them to be. It stays in place on its fold away stand when you aren’t using it,! and the tilted angle keeps the melted glue from leaking out the back of the barrel. This is the best glue gun I have ever owned. Love it.

This is a basic glue gun. I was expecting better quality materials and design based on the description which states, "Professional Grade." The description also states that 3 glue sticks are included. There were NO glue stick included. I am disappointed. I do not believe this product is as described.
