Purchased this ASUS laptop about 2 weeks ago. Initially thought it was good. But, in an overcast daylight the keys are difficult to see, They blend in with the the gray of the computer and are not distinct. Also, not all of the keys are backlit. I'm not sure if this was a return that Amazon got back and reboxed.

Not any better than a cheaper Chromebook and the hinges failed after a year of light use, pushing the screen out and making it unusable. My second Asus with hinge issues. Never again - they look like acer hinges or hp, but are badly engineered! Not only that but apparently parts are unavailable, so it's not even repairable. Should have just bought a cheaper unit. Not worth it.

I upgraded from a Pixel slate with an older generation i5 processor. The i-7 and the newer generation much better screen. Very nice keyboard with backlighting. Everything runs so much smoother and faster! I was toying with the idea of getting a Windows laptop, but this thing does everything I needed to do including midi and audio production. I can't believe the latency issues I had with my old Chromebook and there are none with this!

I purchased this hoping the pen would be as good as my Samsung tablet, but was really disappointed with the accuracy of the pen and it would do internet randomly without warning while the internet was working everywhere else in the house.

I have been a loyal ASUS consumer for many years but this laptop is not among their best work.The stylus is located in a good spot to be easily accessed yet out of the way but its clunky, almost like holding a big stick instead of a writing tool. The keyboard does not seam to lock or turn off when the screen is flipped so you can accidently hit keys when on an uneven surface. The battery life doesnt last that long when under light use, I have yet to try it under heavy use.All in all, this is not a product I would recommend and unfortunately I am stuck with it since I opened it.
