This binding machine works in general good but if you are using the 1 1/2" oval comb by Staples you need a bit of fiddling before you can bind. The 2" comb bought from Amazon, although also oval, works great in this binding machine.What I do like is that when you are opening the comb to insert pages the comb does stay open with out having to keep the handle pushed in position. This allows you to use both hands.

This machine was a good price and size that could be used for the putting together of books and pamphlets . The machine was made with a good quality for punching holes and putting books together.

I was so exited to get it, opened it today, and started by following the instructions by lunching around 6 times the cardboad thing, and then had a hard time punching sheets even 3-6 sheets wouldnt punch properly, then really difficult to open the comb and actually get paper in it, i used to have a cheaper one and worked way better than this machine, is not worth anyones money unless you need it for just once in a blue moon work

This product was easy to use. I do most of my binding of letter size pages. I was able to punch photo paper, cardstock, regular paper. It works well and the combs are easy to cut to size. I usually need to trim for a perfect fit for letter size, but it is easy and you can't tell I have cut it.

I recently purchased this binding machine, and it has been a nice addition to my home office. It’s easy to use, and I can quickly bind multiple documents with a professional finish. The machine is sturdy, and the punch operation is smooth, allowing me to bind thicker documents without any hassle (of course you have to get familiar with user manual included in the box). It’s also compact, which makes it perfect for my small “office” corner. Highly recommend for anyone who need it

Why the product is small and easy to store it is not easy to use. The teeth used for binding are on top so your paper's hang, this makes it very difficult to bind correctly.I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Product easily punches up to 12 sheets paper but DOES NOT BIND THEM in any kind of smooth, easy manner. Terrible, and not worth buying...even the "instruction manual", printed in 2 point type with NO CLEAR INSTRUCTION shows that the seller just does not care.

The instructions in the box are not clear. When it comes to using it to place a comb spine, I had to use a youtube video. The Machine itself does indeed work well. I have used it to make a few books now. The spines that it came with are not great, I bought separate ones that work better in the end. The ones that are in the box you have to cut to the correct length and don't hold many papers.All in all I am happy I bought it, there was just a little learning curve.
