Highly magnetic! Very concerning. Package says," Enhanced 316 Stainless Steel". I suppose you can hide a lot of junk metal inside the word enhanced to make it less expensive, if that is what was done. These are out of China. Once you drill holes in your boat and the cleats rust, you'll be looking for the same cleats, if you can find them, as the hole alignments can be difficult to match. For me, the purpose in selecting stainless is to eliminate that concern and save both time and money in the long run. All the other stainless steel objects on my new boat are non-magnetic stainless steel. The ad on Amazon said 316 stainless and nothing about its being "Enhanced". Amazon's steadily increasing, long shipment time has me pressed for time. I would not buy these again. Maybe for an attractive towel rack away from salt water if I were so inclined.

These 6" cleats work well with 3/8 docking lines, which is the size recommended by the manufacturer for boats up to 25 feet. The "316" stainless alloy is very good for salt-water marine use. Top marks also for manufacturing quality and finish. The bolt holes are for 1/4 inch bolts. To prevent galvanic corrosion, you must remember to use 316 alloy bolts and hardware. I will be buying more at this great price (far less than in marine stores).

It doesn't come with any bolts but they don't know where you plan to mount it anyway. It is beautiful and I think it will prove quite sturdy as well.

These are nice heavy cleats for your boat. They are also WAY less expensive on Amazon than from the local marine store. (My marine store wanted almost 4x as much for the same cleat). They don't come with screws so make sure you pick up some prior to installation.

Good quality. Installed three of them on each side of my PU truck for tie-downs. Adds extra ability to secure loads of any type and size. Did the same thing with some of these same cleats on a previous truck which I owned for three years. Will do the same thing again on my next truck.

These made great replacements for the jib cleats on our 25' sailboat. Liked 'em so much that we also replaced the aft cleats and added two midship cleats. The only problem is that the stainless is so shiny and pretty that you won't want to step on, rub against, or otherwise mar the pretty finish. I just have to remind myself that they're cleats, and that they are there to be used.
