This product was the same number as on the ones I took off but much much more tension than the original. In fact I thought I was going to break my truck hinge on the boat when I tried to close it. Maybe mis marked or something, but it should have been half as much tension.

Needed it to lift the changing door on my pontoon. The old one just stopped working this spring. Received this item quickly and it was a piece of cake to swap out. Works like a charm.

Perfect replacement gas shock for my boat compartment. If you are replacing your old one try to read the numbers printed on the side as it may be the model number.
