Tried several drum mics ev audix fusion digital reference shure Sennheiser etc i used to own a cheap audiotechnica drum mic set i remember i never had a hard time recording toms back in the day . well i found one of them and tried them at the studio and yesthey work for me.so i said ill get this new ones to try them out if they are not good ill return them... this was a year ago i just sold the audix set the shure the digital reference and this ones are still on my kit they wont go anywhere to me this ones work perfect just some eq and some compression no more battles with gates spiffing cymbals and snares rimshots toms for me are out of the trouble zone i got 4 of this btw
