Auger Sales Adapter Compatible with and Fits General Slotted End Cable Ends to Fit a Ridgid K40 K50 K375 K380 K400 K3800 5/8" Cable End (not cable size) Bits. If you have both (slotted end style cable bits) and K40 K50 K375 K380 K400 K380 drain cleaners tools and equipment for 3/8" & 1/2" cables with a 5/8" cable end, (again not Cable Size) it's a whole lot easier to just adapt the end of your cable instead of using two different machines to get the job done. The Drop Head bit pictured in 4 & 5 pictures doesn't come with the adapter, it's just to show you what it would look like in operation.

A really genius idea. Allows you to use high quality Ridgid drain cleaning tools on an inexpensive Chinese-made 1/2" drain snake machine. Machine itself is great, but the tools it came with were garbage. Win-Win.
