Not solid built but does do as advertised. Handle grips come off way to easy. My ferret ripped them off with little to no effort. Connects with my PS4 and has no compatibility issues. The RGB is nice, but the “W” light bar is not programmable. Back buttons are flimsy and doesn’t have a satisfying click or button press. I think you get what you pay for though.

Hey guys let me start by saying that I know how hard is to find a good quality PS3 controller now a days. I've tried the cheap $15 here on Amazon and the last about 1-3 months if you play a lot. This controller is built well. Good quality, the button feel great, and LEDs are awesome. However it doesn't connect wireless to the PS3. It HAS TO BE PLUGGED IN TO WORK. In my opinion not a deal breaker, but you will need a 6 ft USB-C wire minimum. The wrire included in the box is way to small to play from your couch.Second, it doesn't hold like a PS3 controller. Your hands will need a day or two to get used how it grips differently if all you have used is PS3 controllers and replicas. Also the home button doesn't work for PS3 so you will need another controller to pull the menu, and then navigate with this one.Lastly, the start and select buttons are all the way top the top, so if you're checking game status mid game, it's another thing to get used to.Over all not a bad controller if you're tired of the other cheap alternatives here on Amazon.Hope this helps guys.

I love the feel and response. Links up to almost every PC game I have. Smooth controls and lighting.

I recently ordered the Aukuoy PS4 Controller, which is compatible with PS4, PS3, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim, iOS, Android, and PC. After using it for a couple of weeks, I can confidently say that it offers some great features, but there are also a few areas where it falls short.Pros:Multi-Platform Compatibility: The controller's ability to connect seamlessly with multiple platforms is impressive. Whether I'm playing on my PS4, PC, or even my Android device, the transition is smooth and hassle-free.Wireless Functionality: The wireless connection is stable, and I haven't experienced any noticeable lag during gameplay. This is crucial for fast-paced games where response time matters.Colorful Light: The colorful LED lights are a fun addition, adding a bit of flair to my gaming setup. It's customizable, which is a nice touch for personalizing the experience.Programmable Buttons: Having programmable buttons is a game-changer for customizing controls to fit personal preferences, particularly for complex games requiring quick access to multiple functions.Turbo Function: The turbo feature is handy for games that require rapid button presses. It makes certain repetitive actions easier and less straining on the fingers.Cons:Build Quality: The controller feels a bit flimsy compared to the official PS4 controller. The plastic seems cheaper, and I'm concerned about its long-term durability.Ergonomics: While it generally fits well in hand, the ergonomics aren't as refined as the original DualShock 4. During extended gaming sessions, it becomes somewhat uncomfortable.Button Sensitivity: The buttons and triggers are not as responsive as I had hoped. There is a slight delay, which can be frustrating in fast-paced games where split-second reactions are crucial.Battery Life: The battery life is adequate but not exceptional. I find myself needing to recharge it more frequently than my original PS4 controller, which interrupts long gaming sessions.Instructions: The user manual is poorly written and lacks detailed instructions, making the initial setup and use of advanced features like programming buttons and turbo mode somewhat confusing.Overall, the Aukuoy PS4 Controller is a decent budget-friendly alternative to the official PS4 controller. It offers some great features like multi-platform compatibility, programmable buttons, and colorful LED lights. However, it falls short in build quality, ergonomics, and button sensitivity. If you're looking for a secondary controller or something versatile across different devices, it’s worth considering. Just be mindful of its limitations if you're a hardcore gamer looking for top-tier performance.

But it wouldn’t connect to anything at all. Just would blink white and go back to orange/yellow. Tried connecting it to my pc, same thing. I followed the instructions, reset the controller and it’s doing the same thing. I was initially excited when I pulled it out of the package and was quickly and severely disappointed that it won’t even connect to anything. But it does look cool and functional. Just wish it’d actually be functional.

Bought this controller to replace a Terios Wireless Controller I got on sale for less than 20 bucks. The old controller's X button had gotten mushy and the D-pad was a struggle with 2D games like Lords of Exile (lots of accidental sliding...) It's still functional, and it was cheap, so I guess it was an alright purchase, despite lasting less than a year.At first blush, this d-pad is much better. I don't get a bunch of down inputs in error anymore playing Lords of Exile. There's a lot of play in the d-pad, however, so when the pad moves it's not necessarily going to be an input. This is usually most noticeable during menu navigation when just using minimum force rather than during intense gameplay. So don't be gentle, I guess. Too early to tell about longevity.Pretty satisfied, given the price, and better than the Terios, I'd say.
