The heater I repaired with this was a Red Stone model # TT30CR that I had bought at Tractor Supply. The leads on this thermocouple are a couple of inches longer but that's fine. Heater works as good as new!

This item services a wide variety of heaters. It will most likely solve any problems with a heater not staying lit. When I Googled " heater wont stay lit" ,the most common cause was said to be the thermocouple. I also discovered the microswitch is another cause. So, for about $10.you get both pieces.

I have a Dura Heat 360-degree tank top heater from Northern Tool that WOULD NOT stay lit without holding the button in. I thought the thermopile had gone bad, as I had tested the continuity on the tip-over switch. I swapped out the thermopile first, and I still had the same problem, so I replaced that tip-over switch too, and this fixed my problem. If you have a propane heater that won't stay lit, try this kit.
