My old hair towel had to be replaced. I looked at hair towels for a couple of days. Amazon always offers a huge array of products to choose from. I enlarge the pictures and sometimes I have to cross my fingers that I've made a good choice. It's extremely soft and the colors are even soft. I have a small head and I give it an extra twist to keep it in place. I examined the elastic and pulled and tugged for strength. The button is sturdy and I plan to use this hair towel for many years to come.

I love these colorful turbans. They're superrr soft, very comfy, and make it easy to jump out of the shower and dry my hair without having to balance a giant towel on my head. However...I don't find them to absorb water well. At least, it takes forever for my hair to dry when worn. This might be because I'm used to ruffing up my hair with a bath towel and then letting it air dry, which works faster than keeping a soft turban on your head. The upside is, my hair is no longer getting roughed up and dried out, I actually like that it's keeping some moisture in when worn. But does it completely dry my hair? No. Maybe if you have shorter hair it will work better? Rather it leaves it damp after a long while. But I'm honestly ok with this. I feel like my hair is healthier since using it. I end up blow drying it and styling it afterward anyway, so at the very least, it keeps my hair soft and dries it a little bit, ready for a hair dryer to step in. It also has held up to my laundry machine...I have a feeling it will lose it's super softeness in time, but so far it's keeping up with washes.

My hair drys very quickly and it does better when not wrapped, but I love these little towels for when I'm fresh out of the shower. They're a better size and easier to use than my full-sized sets, and the microfiber is soft and easy on my very fine hair. I often have issues with fly aways due to breakage, so the delicacy of these cloths helps a lot. I like that they come in a set so I can use them interchangeably. I do reccomend washing them weekly with your other towels, or they get that dirty hair smell. Overall, I've really enjoyed these for wicking up water in my hair and helping it to not drip/dry much faster. I don't reccomend leaving them on too long and letting your hair down after a while to dry on it's own.

My old microfiber towel was getting a little worn and I decided to get one of these new ones that wrap up a little easier. I'll tell you I really liked the old ones. With longer hair cutting down the drying time is important.Last night I washed my hair, toweled it a bit, wrapped it up and watched a little TV. Five minutes later the couch was wet. This never happened with my old one. Matter of fact, it's just like an old-fashioned cotton towel. Until I verified the description, I sincerely thought it was cotton and I'd made a mistake when I ordered it.On the plus side, I like the length. My hair is almost down to my waist and fits well in the wrap. It's just not as absorbent as microfiber should be. Also you can't really twist it much or the elastic gets twisted around the button and is hard to detach.I hope this helps. There are a lot of microfiber wraps here. I imagine I'll be looking for another soon. I won't send these back, they weren't that expensive and maybe they'll work out. But I wouldn't dream of purchasing them again. And I somehow feel certain that they won't be disappearing when my guests do.** Update: over time my opinion didn't improve. I should really take off another star. The biggest problem I had over time was that the whole thing wanted to fall off if I moved around too much. I really hope others have better luck. It may just be that my hair is longer than they were designed for. But they never were as absorbent as microfiber is.I hope this is helpful.
