This is a beautiful piece of Polish pottery. I was surprised at the color when I took it out of the box. The picture looks quite yellow. The actual color of the sunflowers looks more golden.

I have a lot of love for Polish pottery. I have been buying Polish pottery for the last 4 years or so. I love it for it's earthiness generous usage of colors and design. I must say this is extremely cute BUT it is highly over priced. I could stretch my entire hand and fingers across the rim and it's slightly over two phalanges deep. It's my fault, I didn't read the description nor did I pay attention to the price.

This is a beautiful little baking dish. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but the description did say it holds 28.36 ounces, so that makes it about one-half cup short of a quart. I will be ordering more of these pieces in various sizes. They are so colorful and durable. Just seeing them makes me happy!
