NOTE: The door does not open and close with the light. It only opens and closes to set times.
EASY TO SET THE TIME
- Please turn left to unscrew the cover, push the power switch inside to power it on and the display will light up.
- LCD display and intuitive control panel make it incredibly easy to set up and customize the door's operation according to your specific preferences.
- Easy to schedule specific opening and closing times, it offers unparalleled flexibility and control.
If I just want to use manual mode:
- Long press the set key for 3 seconds, the open and close time will be reset to zero. The door will default to manual mode.
- When the open and close time are set to the same time. The door will also default to the manual mode.
QUICK INSTALL
- Mark the open dimensions 24cm wide and 27cm high for installation.
- Cut with a tool for solar coop door.
- Screw in the screws gently.
- Finish the installation and connect the solar panel.
NOTE: Please full charge the internal battery on door with USB-c cable before testing and installation. When fully charged, the battery indicator light changes from red to blue.

MANUAL CONTROL
Solar powered chicken house door not only can be controlled automatically or remotely, it can also be opened/ closed by pressing the up/ down button directly on control panel.
NOTE: If set the same parameters for open and close, the automatic function will fail.

I totally regret buying this door.The door does not open fully. It opens a couple inches then stops. Even when holding in the button with how much it stalls opening, it takes forever. I noticed other reviews with other people having the same issue.This door is more inconvenient than a normal coop door, which I am switching this out for.I made the mistake of buying it and then waiting to set it up, so now it's out of the return window. I even messaged customer service, for any advice on how I could possibly fix this, and it's been over well over a week with no response.Anyhow, my advice would be to just pick a different door. You don't want to roll the dice on getting a good vs defective one of these.

I've had this for 5 months, haven't had to charge it or change batteries. Works great every single day, no matter the weather (at least from 10°F-110°F). My Facebook chicken group recommended this one and another that was a bit more pricey. I'm very satisfied with this one!

If you have chickens this is a must have for your coop. I have had it for 5 months and had 0 issues with this and makes life a lot easier.

I bought 2 one week ago and I'm having trouble with one already not closing and getting stuck. I couldnt do anythign to close it last night which is not good, there is no manual mechanism to be able to.Also the timers seem to be off, I have them set to close at a certain hour and they close earlier etc. The remotes only work in very close range too so you still have to walk out

This is a great little machine for chicken coops. It is solar powered but also runs on 3 AA batteries OR can be USB charged.User friendly device. Solar powered design, very sturdy, very stress-free and hands-off. Easy to program. Does what it says it does.Very easy to install. Takes just a few minutes to install with screws. Pretty easy to figure out. Gets the job done, and it can be remotely operated, and you can time it to when you want it to open and close.
