I recently purchased the AutoShack Front Steering Knuckle & Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly for my 2012 Jeep Compass, attracted by its competitive price compared to OEM parts. However, I encountered several issues during installation and use. The build quality seemed inferior, with materials and finishing not matching the original equipment's sturdiness, raising concerns about durability and reliability. Additionally, the part's shape and alignment were slightly off, complicating the installation process. While it performs its basic function, these issues make it less desirable for a long-term solution. For peace of mind, investing in a higher-quality part might be a better option.

these aftermarket assembllies are well built and after some basic measurements no wheel alighnment adjustments were requred great value for the price

Was a very convenient and cost effective solution to changing the wheel bearing. No press required, alignment afterword recommended but not necessarily required. Would have been better if the abs sensor cable came with it, also the nit for the axle shaft was not a half nut so locking cap could not be installed. Other than that great product!
