This is a huge lick mat. The ridged areas on one half and the flowers on the other give a variety of presentations for the treats.I'm afraid though that a determined dog could chew off the flowers, although it hasn't happened yet.

We have a cat that started throwing up his food every other day about 30 minutes after eating. He was great, running around, and playing, but we were concerned. We changed his food thinking that was the issue and he started throwing up more often. After researching the problem we learned what was going on. Apparently when we switch to the new food the cat loved it even more and would gobble it down faster throwing it up. Cats can eat too fast and dry pellet food can swell up in their stomachs forcing them to throw it up.This slow feeder bowl has taken care of the problem. Originally we fed the cat from a regular bowl where he would take mouthfuls without chewing and scarf it down. With this slow feeder we put some wet food on the flowers and dry food on the bottom. This slows the cat’s eating down as he works to eat and now he feels full before eating too much.The slow feeder is made of silicone so it cleans very well and the backside has suction cups to keep it in place while the pet works to eat. It is good for both cats and smaller dogs.Very happy we got it.
