This does not stay inflated for even 3 seconds. The rubber part that you blow air into is so cheap that it just pops right open rendering it useless. It won’t stay closed just sitting on the floor undisturbed, let alone when my 7 month old gets into the pool with it (not that it stays inflated enough for us to actually try it out in the pool!). Murphy’s law, I tried it out the day after the return window.

I wish I could rate it with 5 stars, but there are some flaws, that are keeping me from liking it.First I must say it is very pretty, and my kid definitely gets excited and happy when sees it! It is perfect size for 11 months old baby.But the quality of this float is not the best. The middle ring doesn’t keep air in. First time we used it I noticed that, and I thought I didn’t inflate it enough. Second time it happened I thought maybe I didn’t close the lid tightly. Third time couldn’t be a coincidence and I realized that it has tiny hole in it, that I can’t even see. Poor quality or faulty item.Another thing is safety straps, they’re very strangely made. Just crisscrossed and glued to the float with tiny glue dots. It doesn’t seem sturdy and safe, I’m afraid they’ll rip off under my child’s weight. I always keep my hands on the bottom of that thing when my baby is in it, just in case.And the canopy, has to be pulled through the wings, and only then inflated. You can not take off canopy without releasing air from the float. And you can not attach it to the float, when float is already inflated. We’ve made that mistake and had to undo everything to start assembling again.I’m keeping it, just because we need it for 1 more month, if it’ll survive that long. But overall, it’s not great, I’m not happy with it and wouldn’t be recommending.I hope this helps.

Put the canopy over the wings before you inflate the swan. Maybe the directions said that and I just didn’t see it. Very cute though, my LO loves it.

The base itself is cute. We are having a swan first birthday so it will do for that one day! It is cheaply made and the harness/seat is barely attached. The top canopy is not pure white like the image. Right across the front of the canopy is a huge logo stating summer life. So bummed! I did make the mistake of inflating the base before attaching the canopy and like everyone else, had to start over. Lastly, it states it fits a 6 month old to a 4 year old... well my one year old is as snug as she can be. Again I’m using it for one day, so I’ll keep it, but don’t waste your money if your looking for a safe summer pool float for your little!
