The web site said customers who bought Fujitsu PA03641-B005 Document Scanner also bought the background pad.The web site was misleading. The Scanner came with a background pad, no need to waste money buying an additional one.Why would you recommend buying something that was included with the device.before clicking on buy something, make sure you did not get it with your other purchase.

works fine. i did not know that the scanner itself is delivered with a pad but this one is better (indicates positioning of paper)

A pad came with the scanner so this is an extra for me. Too bad it doesn't have markings on it to describe the out limit of where the scan picks up.
