SAISN Closet Door Ball Latch. Just installed the new ball latch on the closet door in our home office. I took out the old one (which failed after 30 years) and compared it with this new one. I think the new one will last longer. The Saisn feels more solidly built, the height setting for the ball is easily adjusted by how far you screw it in, and it just took less than 5 minutes to remove the old one and install this new one. I hope it is as durable as it seems to be. Quick fix, good price, good quality - enough said.

The Catches had a nice machined finish. A liberal amount of adjustment for latching. A good buy for the money.

I put these on my two French doors and they work perfectly. I am buying some more for my closets.

The catches themselves were ok as far as quality goes but the screws were absolute junk. I pre drilled all of the screw holes but still managed to twist the heads off of two of them before they were even flush. If you buy this item, get some different screws. Don’t expect any installation instructions either.

Have looked for replacements for awhile - these are inexpensive and seem to work well

We have the older version and the ball fell out. Well, I though this was the same. It's not. It has indents where the screws go in so you'll need to drill into the door to level it. Our old one was a flat plate so this was a pain. I thought I'd end up with the same device. It's not. Verify before you buy. I'm not even sure the old versions are still made.
