I would not trust these tongs to pick up my clay cups they are very small and simply glued together. One cup is over $100 use your head and purchase quality tea-ware, avoid novelty items.

The inside is not sanded and is dangerous poor quality wood that cut my finger open they made the outside look pretty and the inside is just spikes and splinters

If you are a tea drinker that steeps loose tea in cast iron or other heat conducting pots, this tea set makes life easier. The bamboo is well made, attractive, and small enough to fit any where. The tweezers allow you to pick up the hot tea pot top or hot tea cups without burning your fingers. They are more convenient than simply using a towel, which is not exact. Great gift for your dear tea drinking family and friends.
