These have been great for introducing my child to place values and helping make learning fun. This is also very nostalgic, I remember using these in elementary school. I love that it comes with a carrying case, so I don’t have to worry about losing pieces. This set can work for kids pre-k and up, you can increase the difficulty as you go.

Saw these and KNEW I needed to snatch them up. I remember when I was a kid using these in school to count. I remember it being fun(ish) and I wanted to grab them for my daughter. They come in a case and although the pieces are lightweight they are not flimsy. The set even comes with cards so your kiddo can self drive their education. Am I good at math? No, but I don't blame these.

Math Manipulatives provide a tangible way to represent abstract concepts. Once this ability has been achieved it can be translated to other areas such as reading and more. This kit can be used in the classroom or at home to reenforce what your child learns at school. Many of the kits and tools used in the classroom are expensive, having to be purchased by the school admin. Here is one set that can be purchased by a family for home usage. There are a lot of sites with instructions and example problems. If you click on the suppliers link, on the Amazon product page, you'll find more educational kits to strengthen your child's learning and processing ability. The blocks can be cleaned with standard antibiotic wipes, and placed back into a travel box for storage or transport. This is something wonderful to spend time on, in waiting rooms or other time waste situations. This is an awesome opportunity for a child needing a little more help. It would also be a great gift for a family/teacher wrestling with math issues or for your local school.

I am a homeschool mom and I remember using these type of cubes when I was in elementary school. I am glad to be able to use these with my son. They are easy to use and I really like the case they came in.

I was very pleased with this set of base ten blocks! They come in a handy storage and carrying case. I really like the fact that the different pieces (ones, tens, hundred flat, and thousand block) are color coded for easy recognition. The set comes with a fold out workman and activity cards. The cards and the print on them are a little small, but they will be fine for a math center or for using to tutor your child at home with.

This Base Ten Blocks with Place Value Chart - Math Manipulatives for Kids.Counting Blocks for Math to Help Educate Kindergarten Teachers. is a wonderful play/learning set. I appreciate how these can be useful for teaching math while also seen as play. The activity cards and mat are dry-erasable, though the kit didn't come with a dry erase marker. These are lightweight and seem durable. I also like that it comes in a closeable plastic case with a carrying handle. It's not a bad deal for $25.
