Very weak construction of moving / stressed parts.Plastic of body also didn't seem like it was going to hold up over time with hot drippings if using as separator for gravy.

It works and used it twice and washed and was putting top back on and it cracked

I bought this and returned it because the handle broke after a few uses. Thinking I got a bad one I purchased it again when I saw it here on Amazon. Nope, I had the same problem again! It just isn't well made. Luckily I was able to return it. I will not buy it again!

we didn't noticed it was broken when we got it. The window for refund/exchange had closed by the time we noticed the breakage. I guess it is our bad for not checking. Always check your purchase. There is no trouble returning things to Amazon, You just have to do it in the time allowed.

I bought this item from a grandchild for a school fundraiser. When I opened the box several months later to use as a gravy separator the plastic handle was broken. I thought it was just damaged in transit. When I saw it on Amazon I ordered another one. When I took it out of the wrapping the metal bracket in the handle sprung open and immediately broke the handle. I still have it and manually operate opening it. Unfortunately the plastic handle is too weak to withstand the pressure of the metal bracket.bad handle

The batter is too thick for it to come out on its own I have to shake and stir the batter every pancake. Very disappointed with this.
