I got these to use in my axolotl tank and they work great! Perfect size for my lotls and the suction cups hold up great underwater. Definitely cheaper than at the pet stores so worth the money

I thought these would be too small for a 40 gal tank but they are pretty roomy. I haven't installed them just yet bc we just moved and getting settled but I will be back for an update. I don't smell any (chemical like) smells but I will rinse them before introducing to my axolotl tank.

Suction needs to be wetted in order to stick well and even then it will not support a heavier animal. I have a baby king snake and an adult ball python. My kingy sits on the hammock all day he loves it, my ball python I’ve had to add additional reinforcements for it to not fall down when she’s on it and even then it droops so much that I don’t think she feels comfortable on it. Also keep in mind a medium sized animal could get their head or leg caught in the loops around the suction cups, I’ve closed them off with tape to be safe.

I bought these to put in my tank for my little buddy and they absolutely love sleeping and resting on it. They are a little big for my 20 gallon tank so I only have one in there

Suction cups do not stick well. I tried both hammocks and they fall writhing minutes. I don’t even have fish in the tank yet. Not recommended.

I know these say bearded dragon, but I actually bought and use them for my turtle tank. They love them to climb up out of the water.
