I use 2" cam lock connectors on all my pool maintenance discharge hoses, so when I bought a new hose, I needed a male end that fit securely—and these worked perfectly. They attached easily to both the hose and female connector, ensuring a tight, reliable connection.The male end is polished, while the barbed end has a slightly rough texture, providing a strong grip on the 2" blue PVC discharge hose. Since I store my hoses on reels, the connectors stay protected and don’t get damaged during use or storage.While chlorine and aluminum aren’t the best combination, a quick rinse with fresh water helps prevent corrosion or pitting. If I ever need more male cam lock fittings, I’ll be coming back for these!

Not too much to say here. It's exactly what it claims to be. It fits into my female camlock fittings just fine. The barbed end fits into the hoses I have as well. The overall machining is well done. Pricing is also reasonable.
