Crinkled with the first use. The top was stuck on when I received, so the mesh wrinkled when I out enough pressure on the male end of the top closure. Holes in the end plate are significantly larger than those in the mesh, so you will get hops out into your wort unless you chain or wire it to the side of your kettle. Neither is supplied.

This is awful. After 1 brew the seam apparently split. Do not buy!! Waste of money!

There is no screen mesh under the lid. This allows the hop material to filter out thru the holes in the lid.

how good is 300 microns when the screen is not welded continuously on to base? welding is consistent on vertical screen but not on diameter of both top and most importantly bottom cap

Good buy! Kept my boil pot cleaner than a sock does. I wouldn't put more than 2 oz of pellet hops in this one. My only wish is it had a chain. Had to use dental floss! Suitable small chains are hard to find, still looking.
