This slender leather leash looks like it won't last long or hold well, but it truly does. I have a 55-lb mixed-breed dog who loves to run & play and is very interested in other dogs. She is well-trained, but once in a while, not so much. I use this leash for her pinch collar (which she rarely pulls on) and it's been fantastic. Highly recommend for a small-to-medium dog who gets a little frisky once in a while.

I use this leash to lead my adopted dog in the house around the cats as she is still in training. She doesn't lunge but it is a good safety precaution.The leash provides a good grip and is soft and manageable in your hands. 4 ft is great for its limited use.

We had a trainer that recommended this leash said dogs don't usually chew on leather. Well turns out mine did. But this second one I bought has lasted a while now. Love the color.

Having a new puppy that chew's everything. Wish they had a bitter taste. So my new puppy did chew it in half.

This is an excellent leash - I ended up buying two of them for my golden. The length is perfect. I tied an extra knot about halfway down the leash, so there are two loops in the leash - both the original one and the extra one. These two loops are perfect for working with my golden - I can easily use the middle loop for heeling and work when he is supposed to be very close to me, without extra leash to drag or tangle, and use the end loop for when he is not working and can be further away from me.The leather itself is very durable, will not rip or stretch, and is perfectly comfortable to have in my hand, unlike nylon or other non-leather leashes which, when it happens, slide and ‘burn’ the hand holding the leash, and is slippery so I never felt as secure with working with my golden. The connector to the collar is sturdy, large, and dependable (the one on the other nylon leash I have actually broke - the mechanism tab that opens and closes the connector actually broke off, so it is extremely annoying to put on and off).This leash is worth the money - you won’t regret it!
