It is not like the flat shield I've used in the past, this one is a hard shield allowing plenty of face space and is optically perfect. Like wow!

Never enjoyed the claustrophobic feel of a full face lid but equally dislike the face tattoo effect of UK rain and being water boarded with your own buff? This is the answer.Will steam up a bit at the bottom if you sit idle too long but clears quickly once moving again. You don’t get rain build up on surface because it’s a curve. Rattles a bit when blustery but just wear ear plugs. I rate this product and never go anywhere without it in my pannier. The graduated tint is perfect for when sun is low but you have the benefit of just tilting up slightly in bad light. You’ll know you made the right choice the first time you get caught out and you’re grinning behind this thing in a downpour. I also have a yellow one for riding at night and dull Winter days.

Jedoch auf den 2ten Blick schon beim auspacken ein leichter kratzer im visier woher auch immer und an dem verchromten rand bilden sich leider ein paare blasen unter der legierung.Alles in allem in Ordnung man sollte sich aber dennoch die frage stellen ob es ein günstigeres Visier für 15 euro nicht auch tut.

Bought this Bell retro shield to go on my Bell #1 American Flag helmet. Fit great, looked great, didn't work great. Must have not read all of the info. Notice inside the package said, " not for road use ". Ok, put it on anyway hopped on my Harley and off I went. About five miles down the road I noticed the shield started to vibrate at 70 mph. Then out of nowhere it blew off. No recovery due to a big truck running it down. Buy at your own risk if you plan to ride with it on...

Not the same shape as the ones from the 70's, it almost rests on the helmet on the sides, but enough of a gap on a new Daytona 3/4 helmet that at speed the thing vibrates, which is an annoying buzz as well as effecting the clarity of your view. I'm gonna run a small bead of silicone down the edge that touches the helmet and let it dry before snapping it back on, that should take care of the issue. Other than that its a nice face shield, not as bendy as some.
