Your cart is empty.When you think about lowering your Sport Truck or SUV, historically the most overlooked component is the shock absorbers, with many Sport Truck or SUV owners simply leaving the factory units installed as a "good enough" after thought. However, when you lower your Sport Truck or SUV, many of the components that you will use reduce the effective travel of the shock absorbers and can render your OEM shock absorbers virtually useless. This results in not only poor ride quality & reduced driving enjoyment, but a large safety concern. The first time you need to perform an emergency maneuver like swerving to avoid a child, animal or another vehicle on the road, you will quickly find out exactly what we mean. Excessive body roll and an incredible amount of front lean on braking, and rear dip on acceleration are all effects of a shock absorber (or more appropriately named damper) that is not working correctly as it is out of its element or operating range. You have effectively tied the dampers hands behind its back, not enabling it to do its job and control or dampen the movements of the suspension. Well Made Top and Bottom Mountings are THICK not cheaply made like other top brand names. They use Grade 8 mounting plates and double nuts.

Gave me a way better ride than the stock shocks & much stiffer, no bottoming out. My 2006 Silverado Crew Cab with a 2-4" drop ride like a dream!!

This shock rides okay, but in less than 10k miles and 6 months the lower shock mounts broke off. The truck started riding rough, so I was checking underneath yesterday, and the shock was just free floating in the middle of the coil spring hanging by the upper mount. While this is not necessarily the reason for the rough ride, I am glad I caught it. I now have to order a new shock for a replacement, so make sure if you buy this shock you buy the replacement plan with it!!

Purchased theses (just the front) with Belltech 5106 and 5107 for my 95 Buick Roadmaster wagon with 98,000 miles. I am still using the factory rear air shocks.The ride feels good, not as cushy as the OEM shocks, but still rides pretty decent on the rough roads of Baltimore.

Happy with the product. Trusted brand that is definitely an improvement over stock. Doesn't completely ride like a breeze and that's expected with a lowered truck, but better than leaving your lowered setup with OEM shock. Price is fair and is reasonable choice if you're not going with an airbag suspension. Can't go wrong with Belltech.

Bought these to replace the Belltech Nitro Drop shocks that came with my drop kit. The ride is soooo much better!! Worth every penny!

If you want a perfect shock for your lowered silverado this is the shock to buy. I have ran these twice on two different vehicles. My truck is a 2006 1500 Silverado lowered 4" in the front. These shocks are the best bang for the buck and will compliment the handling of your vehicle.I would pass these on to anyone. Great deal and great Price
