Replaced the Original Nitro drops that I have had for years with these Nitro drop 2 shocks. Work as advertised and now the truck rides so much better with these shocks on a 2/4 dropped truck. Easy to install.

I just installed these shocks on my 91’ Toyota pickup 2wd 5sp. I did have to clearance the Shock location in the lower control arms about 1/16” on each side to get the upper shroud of the shock to pass through. These shocks are built much better than normal parts store shocks and look like they are built to last.

can not handle any load at all , they blew out on a trip with only 4 old EMPTY wine barrels , truck was rocking so bad on long trip i i hit a bump at 65 ( speed limit 70) would have to slow down to 40 to get it smooth out . was 1st load over 150 lbs in since i put them on a my 2010 ram 1500with a Belltech 2/4 drop that was running the stock shocks , in 1.5 year since lowered never bottomed out till i put these on and now it does all the time going to replace this for mine and others safety . update contacted Belltech, they said my truck was to heavy for this shock with no load , my response was then why do you sell it for this truck if you know it is not right for these trucks , replaced all 4 with NYK's and all is good except i have 4 shocks that are no good to me and I am out $168

Excellent shocks for an excellent price .My truck no longer bottoms out. it has a 3 in drop and the stiffness is close to perfect handling is sooo much better . Not direct fit but instead of dropping them in from bottom to top do it opposite and since the flange for the screws is held together with rubber around it all you have to do is muscle it in carefully there is NO NEED to cut anything. .. excellent

Does it's job very well. Great results for my daily driven, lowered Toyota pickup.**keep in mind, that for certain applications, you will have to do some work.**In many cases like mine, you will have to *clearance the opening of the lower control arm, 3mm or more*.As long as you have a drill or air/ electric grinder and a stone bit, take a little material off each narrow side of the opening. You are going for a small groove on each side, less than an inch. It is not hard, and only takes a few minutes.These shocks are considerably wider than OEM by design. (For the purpose of adding better control and dampening, with a shorter height and piston travel.)Will buy again, for the rear.

These shocks were purchased to replace an older front set I thought might of been past their lifetime. After receiving these shocks, I tried to install them and the metal dust cover portion of the shock would not fit through the lower frame hole. I contacted Belltech and was advised over the phone that I had to cut apart the metal dust cover if I wanted to install them. They also advised me that I have to dremel part of my vehicle to fit them. This was not noted in the purchase information before I bought them and I felt that this should of been explained prior to the purchase. I could not find it in my self to cut and molest a brand new pair of shocks for my vehicle. In addition to removing metal from my vehicle for fitment to my vehicle. These shocks were shown to fit my vehicle on the manufacturer site, but it seems like they fit another vehicle and they include my vehicle as an after thought, after finding that cutting them will allow them to fit my vehicle. This was no fault of Amazon.com what so ever and they are not the cause of this item being returned. It was the miss-information by the manufacturer that caused the product to be returned for refund.This product needs to be modified by the manufacture so they fit and not the customer. I decided to use another well know companies shocks and will order them by way of Amazon.com. Thank You Amazon for being such a supportive online company presence.
