Box was a little worn and not the original packaging, the belltech stickers usually included weren't. Not so sure of the authenticity.

I'm using these on my 99 Dakota rt with hotchkis suspension. They aren't as good as the bilstiens I replaced, but those are no longer produced and these are better then the set of qa1 single adjustables I had on for a short time.

If your truck is lowered up to 2 inches in the front, this is an excellent replacement shock. Works great on my Dodge Dakota.

Anyone who has lowered their truck knows about Belltech's products, from kits to parts. These shocks are the modern version compared to the previous Nitro Drop model, which apparently had some design flaws. They have more than made up for that with the Nitro Drop 2. Compared to other lowering shocks, Belltech built these right. They are not the stiffest shock, which is great for someone wishing to have a relatively plush ride. These are able to be used for stock height vehicles, or dropped all the way down to 3 inches, which is a pretty impressive range for a shock. I lowered my 1999 V6 Dodge Dakota with these shocks, and the ride was still great. Immense improvement in handling. BEWARE: if you are going to lower you truck more than 2", replace the bump stops for shorter ones. Suspension won't work if you are riding on the frame.
