I like the weight of the jacks and the color as well. When we played many years ago, we used a golf ball. Liked the bounce of a golf ball.

The Jax are nice and heavy, perfect size and the points are not as round as in many new sets. That being said they are not as sharp as l would have liked, but the main reason for taking 2 stars off, was the ball. It is not heavy or hard enough and has a seam right down the middle which makes your ball bounce in different angles when it lands on it. The ball should be solid to get a straight bounce every time.They were not cheap either.Will have to buy a ball separately.
