Ich habe mir dieses BENFEI NVMe Gehäuse geholt, um eine ungenutzte NVMe-SSD weiterzuverwenden – und ich bin rundum zufrieden. Die Installation war wirklich kinderleicht, komplett werkzeuglos und die SSD sitzt sicher im Gehäuse. Kein nerviges Schrauben oder Fummeln, einfach einklicken, fertig.Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist top, 10 Gbps schafft das Gehäuse problemlos, was man auch beim Kopieren größerer Dateien deutlich merkt. Das Aluminiumgehäuse sieht nicht nur schick aus, sondern sorgt auch für eine gute Wärmeableitung – wird also nie zu heiß, selbst bei längeren Transfers.Ein besonderes Highlight ist der eingebaute Stromausfallschutz. Gerade wenn man viel mit externen Datenträgern arbeitet, ist das eine richtig gute Absicherung gegen Datenverlust. Dazu gibt’s noch ein hochwertiges USB-C auf USB-A/C Kabel, was das Ganze super flexibel macht – egal ob Laptop, PC oder Tablet.Fazit: Solides, schnelles und durchdachtes NVMe-Gehäuse – ideal für Datensicherung, als schnelle externe Platte oder um ungenutzte SSDs weiter zu nutzen. Klare Empfehlung!

En tant que testeur pour Amazon, j'ai testé le BENFEI Boîtier SSD M.2 NVME 10Gbps et voici mon retour :• Design et qualité de fabrication :Le boîtier affiche un design sobre et élégant, avec une finition en aluminium qui aide à la dissipation thermique. La conception sans outil est un vrai plus, permettant une installation rapide et facile du SSD sans avoir besoin de tournevis.• Compatibilité et installation :Compatible avec les SSD NVMe en format 2230, 2242, 2260 et 2280, il prend en charge les clés M et B&M, offrant une bonne flexibilité pour différents modèles de disques. L'installation est simple, grâce à un système de fixation interne efficace.• Performances et vitesse de transfert :Grâce à son interface USB-C 3.2 Gen2, il offre des débits allant jusqu’à 10 Gbps, ce qui permet de tirer parti des vitesses élevées des SSD NVMe. Lors de mes tests, les performances étaient proches des valeurs annoncées, avec des transferts rapides pour des fichiers volumineux.• Refroidissement et durabilité :L'aluminium joue bien son rôle pour dissiper la chaleur, même si en usage intensif, le boîtier peut légèrement chauffer. 少し大きめのサイズ、自分がもっている中だと一回り大きめでした。工具不要で簡単にSSDの付け外しでき、SSD も 2230/2242/2260/2280 M key/B+M key と M.2 SSD を幅広く対応してます速度も Gen 3.2 の 10Gbps 対応と十分な性能です付属ケーブルはアダプタ付きで USB Type-C , Type-A の両対応素材もアルミで放熱性に優れた素材てます。シリコンラバーも簡単な保護はでき、全般的によくできているケースでした。

Every time I upgrade a computer I get a new external enclosure for the new drive to clone the old one which I am currently doing with my sons gaming computer swapping a 1TB drive to a 2TB. After putting the new drive into the computer I move the old drive into the enclosure and leave it in there as a backup just in case of issues and then wipe it for use as an external for something else. So I got this one and didn't realize how great it was compared to others and may order another one for the old drive because this is easy open and tool free where as all my previous ones were screw mount and screw enclosure. It takes just seconds to swap the drive and use. In the past I just left the old drives in their new enclosure but had to plug each one in every few months and power them up, write a file, and shut them down to keep them active because long term storage of flash drives can be problematic. So instead I can just store the unmounted drives and pop them in an out of this taking up way less physical space for all my backup M2 drives which is now up to 8. Included with this is the enclosure (metal with rubber protection), a thermal pad, a 15.5" USB-C to USB-C with a USB-C to USB-A adaptor, and the instruction manual. It's well build and sturdy. Performed was tested on a Samsung NVMe SSD 960 EVO M.2 drive which is an older drive from 2016 and I chose this one as it is currently is use now for cloning and most of the drives that I refresh are this age or older and I do occasional pull large files off them. 1MiB testing on a drive that is eight years old and getting 417.82 read and 434.63 write is impressive. The only downside of this enclosure is the distance of the heating pad to the metal surface. Writing files back and forth and testing the surface of the enclosure was barely warm so that heat is still trapped inside however there wasn't any change in performance after running several tests. I did notice that the chip side of the M.2 drive installed in the case faces down when the BENFEI brand side is up so laying the case with the brand side down will let the heat rise up off the chips. This is a great little drive and a recommended purchase.

Review of B0DDC6V96S - BENFEI M.2 USB-C NVME SSD Enclosure:I ordered several USB-C NVME SSD enclosures and this is my favorite for backing up critical data. Why? Because it has an under-appreciated feature: a super capacitor providing about 10 seconds of power after it is removed.When an SSD undergoes an abrupt power loss, there is distinct possibility (though very small) that a complete data loss can occur. That data is gone, gone. I've had that happen to me -- a 1TB SSD made by what many consider THE top rated manufacturer suffered a sudden power loss. Instantly that drive was completely inaccessible and all the data was lost. I was stunned. I'm a computer professional with many decades of experience and I have never had that happen, or known that to happen to anyone. I did some research and discovered two whitepapers issued by two of the leading SSD manufacturers describing the cause of this rare occurrence:It's called PFAIL (Power Failure). Under a normal shutdown, the SSD has plenty of time to flush its cache buffers and update its mapping tables. The SSD mapping table is responsible for the physical to logical mapping of data on an SSD. This flush and update is what's performed by the 'Safely Remove Device' procedure, or during normal shutdown. Upon a power loss or improper removal of the USB connection there is a very tiny chance that mapping tables are not updated before the power is lost. In the case of abrupt power loss, power capacitors can hold up power long enough so that data that resides in the SSD’s cache buffer can be written to flash memory and its mapping tables updated.This is the first USB SSD enclosure I've seen that actually has super capacitors to hold up power for a few seconds after the USB connection is removed. You can verify this easily -- the LED remains on for a few seconds. After suffering catastrophic critical data loss myself, I put a high value on an enclosure incorporating super capacitors, as this one does. I lost everything -- the SSD was unrecoverable. One moment it was working fine, then unexpected power loss, then the SSD became completely inaccessible. Not just data loss, the SSD itself was dead. I tried everything, especially the recommended power cycles, but it could not be resurrected. Over years without problems, I had become complacent; I had a backup but it was several months old. Those few months of lost data caused many days of reconstruction, but some things were lost forever.In addition to the unusual benefit of super capacitors, this is a solid unit. The RTL9210 controller chip is one of the best and highly compatible. I can't believe how inexpensive this is for being an enclosure designed to be so highly protective of your data.
