I thought from the picture the edging would show up when a beverage was poured in. It did not, and even look like it was rubbing off when I washed it by hand.

When I purchased the glass, I was really happy with the etching/image/message. Once I received the glass, I realized the etching was quite shallow on the glass. When I placed fluid (water then beer) in the glass, the etching pretty much disappeared. This gift was a little disappointing, but I couldn’t send it back by the time I needed it.

I guess I just thought the glass was bigger and the etching would show up more. If you just want a regular glass that has the words etched on it, it will be fine. I'm going to try to dress it up because I ordered it as a gift.

Ordered this for the funny etching. Unfortunately the etching is so light I initially thought they sent a blank glass. You really can’t see or read it well. Maybe it will stand out more with a dark liquid in the glass but really this could be a lot better. Also it doesn’t come in any kind of box other than the brown box used to pack it so it’s not great for gifting.

The lettering on the glass was hardly readable because it was so light. Appears way darker in the image online. Disappointed!
