I would not recommend anyone get these door lock knobs. The passenger side (right) door lock knob in my 1996 F-150 (without power locks) was missing when I won the truck on government auction. I figured I would replace them with a generic one like these as they were metal and not plastic. However, despite being metal, they did not function properly and one of them immediately broke when I went to install it. Specifically, the threads pulled right out of the knob after screwing on. The threads remained on the original lock hardware, but the knob itself pulled right off when unlocking the door. Luckily, my truck only has two lock knobs, so I was able to use another one in the kit. Also, the second day of having these installed, the little rubber o-rings that are supposed to make it grippier (I assume that’s what they’re for) immediately fell off. Looks better without them anyway. Also, the “diamonds” are very poorly glued on and there is excess glue around the gem that looks terrible and is a telltale sign of poor quality. Why didn’t the manufacturers remove the excess glue!? The gem will probably fall of soon anyway; it doesn’t seem to be well attached with a secure bond.Either way, I don’t expect these to last long, and they ended up looking very dump. However, they do function. It’s just unclear for how long. Would not recommend.

Picked these door lock knobs for my vehicle because one of the rear passenger doors had a broken knob for quite some time. These are cool looking, not too fancy, but has a nice look. Replacing the old knobs aren't as hard as I thought and these give my vehicle a unique upgrade without breaking the bank. So far I have only installed one, but am considering doing the other passenger rear door to make it match so it isn't only 1 door that has them. I'm considering doing all the doors, but the rear doors were the more impactful when not being able to grab the knob to open the doors (no unlock buttons in rear) for passengers to open the doors to get out.The knobs seem to be good quality, not a cheap plastic feel, but like a light metal feeling with some weight to it, which is nice. Upon initial pick-up, there were no reviews for this product, I took a chance and I'm glad I did because these seem to be much better quality than my vehicle's OEM plastic feeling door lock knobs. The knobs feel like they will outlast the previous. Considering my vehicle is only 10 years old, the quality of the old knobs felt cheap, I look forward to many more years with this vehicle and utilizing these to please my passengers and make my car stand out from the rest.
