As a PADI instructor, I've used ny share of snorkels, and I bought this to match my mask, more than anything. But this traditional snorkel is short for any wind/waves at all, and I'm constantly clearing it (CONSTANTLY). A little bit more length or a simple shield over the intake hole might help.If you're looking for a beginner (dry) snorkel or you want a reliable snorkel that doesn't constantly require clearing, this isn't it. On the plus side, you can buy one to match your mask. Not exactly practical but great for photos.
