Needed some shims for my new wheelset, as my Shimano cassette was just a touch too small in width, meaning the lock ring wasn't holding it in place enough, causing it to wobble. Grabbed this set, as it came with a multitude of sizes, as I wasn't sure which one I'd need. Tried a few, found the size that worked best, and threw it on the hub, put on the cassette, tightened it all up, and away I've gone! So far, so good! Haven't had any issues with the cassette loosening up, and the shim is holding up just fine. Super simple product, but a lifesaver to have when you need it!

This is what is needed for spacing out the a bike freewheel to a cassette. My application is for a Shimano free hub to 9 speed cassette. You can look up the spacing needed as well as the torque spec. Although, these can be bought in a variety of anodized colors, you really won’t see them unless you look closely at the space between the free hub and the cassette, so I opted for black. The thickness is pretty much on the money and the aluminum should not rust, the color looks uniform and each spacer is marked with it’s thickness.

You know you're getting these spacers if you know what you're doing to your bike set I got these because I needed to shift the rear cassette just a few millimeters and the spacers were a great fix in order to align the cassette properly on the rear wheel overall good to have on hand and handy in any toolbox for a person who works on bikes, Diy, or professional

Most wheels you get on the lower end are fairly universal when it comes to fitting cassettes. If you have a wheel that can accept a larger cassette, but run a lower speed count, you'll want these to get your chain line right. You might even need these spacers to get your top ring to cinch down on top of your cassette (common if you run something small like a 7 speed).I've just put these on so I can't tell how corrosian resistant they are, but since most of the stuff you run back on your cassette is lubed up, it will probably be ok. The one thing I'd like though is to have more come in a pack. Seems like you always run in to where you can only outfit one bike per purchase. You're always left over with spacer sizes you didn't use and can't use on the next bike. Give us multiples over what's already in the pack; Especially the .5 and 1mm.

Work well as cassette or headset spacer. thickness is clearly marked and reasonably accurate when measured with calipers. Of course, only one of each thickness, so don't plan to build an entire cassette with this.

This spacer set is a useful addition if you work on bikes. Basically there are various spacer widths that you can use to fit different cassettes to your hubs. This set is one of those things that you don't know you need until you need them. I used the 1mm to put an 8 speed cassette on an 11 speed hub today. Works like a charm. There's nothing to go wrong with these. They fit on the hub well and they are all correctly milled. Good part.

Was working on a fix on my road bike rear wheel freehub, needed spacers. They came the next day after order. Absolutely worth the money, as you have 7 pieces of different widths. It’s a solid 5 star rating.
