I really don't know what to say about this other than it works. You get a bolt that goes with it that has a little bit of thread lock on it which is a nice touch. This way you don't have to reuse the old one. This seems to be made of aluminum and is plenty strong for a bike. Just make sure your need a square not a diamond. And yes they are different.
