About this item

  • Integrated Design: Onboard same BTB connector with Raspberry-Pi Eco, you can directly install CB1/CB2, or Raspberry-Pi CM4, etc., run Linux system efficiently, and running Klipper firmware. In addition, it is possible to run the Marlin firmware independently without CB1/CB2/CM4. The best choice for Voron V0,Ender 3 3d printer.
  • Powerful performance: Equipped with 32-bit 64MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ series chip, more consistent and faster. The TPS5450-5A power chip allows for power input of DC12/24V, with the chip's current output up to 5A, peak value 6A, which perfectly supports the power supply of the core board.
  • Multiple Functions: BTT Manta M4P V2.2 support stepper driver SPI/UART/STEP/DIR working mode, such as TMC2209/TMC2208 etc, bltouch, microProbe v2.0, Eddy auto bed leveling sensor, SFS V2.0 smart filament sensor, rgb lights, auto shutdown and other functions. Onboard HDMI interface, DSI/CSI interface (need to be used with CM4), bring higher picture quality experience, widely compatible with various CNC fans.
  • Higher security: ESD protection device at USB and Ethernet ports help to prevent electrostatic hazards. The protection circuit on thermistor prevents the main control chip from burning due to leakage of the heated bed or heater cartridge.
  • Firmware upgrade: MCU can be upgraded through SD card, or MCU firmware can be updated through DFU via Klipper's "make flash" command. If you have any problems regarding BIGTREETECH manta M4P v2.2, please tell us on Amazon at first time
  • After-sales service: The firmware update and installation steps of manta m4p have been uploaded to BIGTREETECH Github. Please follow the instructions. If you encounter any problems during use, please let us know as soon as possible and we will give you a satisfactory solution.

To make it easier for users to run Klipper, BIGTREETECH launched all-in one Manta 4P V2.2 motherboard integrated with dual cores to run Marlin & Klipper.

Features

A.Microprocessor: M4P V1.2 uses 32 Bit ARM Cortex-M0+STM32G0B0RE 64MHz, which greatly satisfies your 3D printing needs.

B.40-Pin Pin Header: With 40-pin header, the Manta M4P has the same function as that of Raspberry-Pi(Custom IO for CB1) when connected with Raspberry-Pi CM4.

C.ESD Protection Chip: ESD protection chip on the USB and Ethernet ports to prevent break-down caused by the static electricity.

D.Board-to-Board Connector: Featured with same connector as Raspberry-Pi, Manta M4P fits all versions of CM4, and CB1 core board. Screw-reinforced installation is also available.

E.5A for Raspberry-Pi: Adopts TPS5450-5A power chip that supports DC12/24V power input. The output current of the chip is up to 5A, peak value 6A, which perfectly supports the power supply of the core board.

F.Full Connectivity: Supports auto shut down, Bltouch, RGB lights.

G.Various Expansion Interfaces: DSI1, CSI1 interface (for CM4); Gigabit Ethernet interface (1000M for CM4, 100M for CB1); 3X USB 2.0 ports.

H.Driver Working Mode: Supports SPI, UART, STEP/ DIR.

I.Multiple Fan Ports: Equipped with three CNC fans (24/5V selectable), and one for the SoC fan (Voltage is not selectable). Fans could cool down the temperature of the main board, motor, driver, and other devices, eliminating the chance that the machine gets overheated, and other operating problems during printing.

J.Ideal Option for Voron V0, Ender 3: The combination of Manta M4P V1.2 and CB1 core board makes it perfect for Voron V0, and Ender 3.

K.Updating Firmwares: MCU firmware can be upgraded through SD card, or through DFU through Klipper's make flash command.

If you have any queries about BIGTREETECH Manta M4P V1.2 control board, please feel free to contact us on Amazon. One-year Warranty is 100% guaranteed.

This is a great offering, full of ports and features that make it a very flexible board. It's capable of driving a variety of 3d printer setups as it is mostly platform-agnostic, so you will probably still have this board when you decide to build your own rig. However, if you are in the market for a simple-as-possible board swap, you may need to continue your research.I've now spent weeks trying to get this feature-rich, affordible board up and running. I've been frustrated by poorly written and supported documentation (obviously, by someone for whom English is not a first language. I don't think editing and review of documentation is a priority for BigtreeTech. The Internet tries to help out, but BTT releases minor revisions without documentation such that you may find some assistance that doesn't apply to your specific model, after you have tried the suggestions.BTT's moto is "for makers, by makers". That is certainly true, but they presume a level of expertise that a newb probably doesn't have. If that's you, make sure you belong to a club, or have a geek who has some experience before you order.Having owned several BTT products, I generally like BTT hardware and find great value in their products. But, their documentation needs help. You don't have to be an EE to read and follow it, but that would help.Lesser mortals have better be prepared to spend lots of time.

Having the Linux host and the printer controller in one board is very convenient. There's also a ton of ports. Highly recommend it.

I received my Manta m4p yesterdayk, 4.14.23. It's version 2.2. There is zero information on the net for this board? So I'm dead in the water here. Considering that the previous board came with a NON-FUNCTIONING HDMI port, well . . . none of this surprises me now.
